Not all judges have passed a competitive examination and have not been trained at the magistrate's school.

Called consular or non-professional judges, they sit in the commercial court, the industrial tribunal, the parity court for rural leases, etc.

The best known are the local judges who ceased their functions on January 1, 2017. However, they will not disappear from the judicial landscape.
